How the Artist Directory Works
The Artist Directory is a private way for clients to be matched with a LINEONE-trained stylist near them. Your information never appears publicly on lineonehair.com.
How a client uses it
Any visitor to lineonehair.com can submit a short form asking to be matched. They enter a first name, an email address, and a ZIP code. Nothing else.
How matching works
We look up the three closest opted-in Pros within a 50-mile radius of the client’s ZIP. We sort them by distance and send the client a private email with each stylist’s salon name, address, Instagram, and booking link — if those fields are on file.
The client never sees a public list. We never publish opted-in stylists anywhere on the site.
What you control
Your visibility is set by the opt-in checkbox on the Pro Directory form. While it is checked, you may be recommended to clients within 50 miles of your salon ZIP. Uncheck it any time and you stop being recommended.
You also choose what each client sees:
- Salon name and ZIP — required for matching.
- Street address, city, state — shown in the client email so they know where to find you.
- Instagram, booking URL, bio — optional, but help clients reach you faster.
We never share your private email or phone with clients. Only what is in your directory listing.
When a client is matched to you
You receive an internal email telling you a client requested an artist match in your area. We never give clients your phone number or personal email until you decide to respond — the introduction is on your terms.
